One platform that caught our attention is VidioVibe.com. Though the name is a bit tricky (I keep trying to write vidEovibe), the platform is sort of a combination of the People’s Choice Awards and YouTube. We may or may not be the “few saps”, but those puppy/baby videos get us every time. Anyway, the site originally launched as student video contest site, OnVidi, and it also serves as a social network site where anyone can vote, promote, and chat about great videos. So, well done VidioVibe! The company has raised a total of $2 million in seed funding from 7 Bar 3 Investments, and we can only see bigger things coming from this site that awards videographers.

For all you sitting at home making videos, whiteboard videos, or just well-done live videos, be sure to check out this site — you may just be able make some cash from your film!
