Hey everyone, come meet our Art Director! As you know, we like all of our readers to get to know the faces behind our amazing work. So, this week we’re spotlighting Adrian Karpenkopf, our fantastic Art Director. Adrian, born and raised in Buenos Aires, has been working for Revolution Productions for two years, helping us make really cool web videos. As the Art Director, Adrian visually interprets the script and client’s goals in order to create the design of the video and develop the storyboards, which will determine the frames, characters style, colors, and typographies.
So what did this talented guy do before Revolution Productions? Well, he was a character designer for a cartoon series, a content writer, a graphic designer, illustrator, and project manager. Phew. No wonder we rely on him so much! Adrian really can do it all when it comes to video production. So what does he like the most?
“Definitely character design. I like to create characters and mascots and project the rotation of their bodies and give different facial gestures and body positions. I also like to draw their clothes and paraphernalia. I enjoy putting in my creativity when interpreting the texts and translating them into images.”
Other than being our creative genius, Adrian loves music and has a band. He writes songs and sings – making him a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Adrian loves the artistic ideas that flow in Buenos Aires, as well as the eclectic music scene the city offers.
