What Type of Explainer Video is Right for your Business?

We all know the importance of video. If you don’t, Wharton School of Business did a study that found that 72% of customers are more likely to purchase a product or service if they see a video about it first. So…think about that. But, there are many different types of videos that you can have, and it can be confusing when preparing for production. To make things oh so much easier, we’ve compiled a list of different kinds of videos that you can make for your company.

Explainer Video: The old tried and true video. You know this awesome video can really give your company a spike in video and it is useful in many different aspects of business, such as trade shows or on your website homepage. You can have an animated video or use  whiteboard style video, etc. The possibilities are endless (just look at our blog where we describe so many of these).

Video Brochure: Have great images? Have a lot of visuals to show potential customers? Then put them into a nice package with a voiceover in a video brochure. This is a very engaging way to get in front of your customers and keep their attention. Big brands like Allstate have already jumped on this trend.

Video Business Plan: Didn’t see this one coming, did you? If you want to attract investors and use an infographic to show your company’s forecasting? Make a video! For this a whiteboard animation would be great, because an online presenter in video could be a bit pushy. Show your financials and future projections in a visual, attention-grabbing way with video.

Video Outreach: Working on a campaign? Make a video! We all remember big campaign videos like Kony 2012, so jump on that trend by getting your message out there. We did this with a Hearts campaign, so check us out!
