We just made another really cool corporate video for our client Witmart, a global online crowdsourcing service market. This site is a place for both employers and employees to find and post jobs. This site has many features and many different people can use it. We didn’t want the video to be too chaotic and crazy, so we decided to narrow down our messaging and target audience interests, which in this case was their logo offering. Check out what we did.
Basically companies can go on the site when they need a logo. They have many, many different choices when it comes to logos, so we want to show how this works. To do this, we made a visual video theme that streams throughout the video. Take the logo choices:
And we continue that video theme.
See the slight repetition? When looking for a design, you want visuals, which is why we chose this video theme for our corporate online video.
This client is a good example of targeting, as we could have made a video talking about writers and those that need content writing. Sometimes when making an explainer video, it is important to choose a video theme and stick to it, which is what we did.
If we tried to discuss all of the many projects that can be posted on Witmart, we’d have a ten minute video. Instead, we decided to talk about logos, as that is a very common project that companies need and a common project posted on the client’s website.
In the end, remember to narrow down your theme and target audience interests in a simple and engaging manner. And the results – well, you tell us!
