Three Ways to Make your Next Company Video Stand Out

Explainer videos come in different shapes, themes, and sizes. Video production companies strive to be the best by creating new animations and drafting clever scripts. However, as any other video ever made, the trick to a really good company video is the ability to set your video apart from the rest. Not sure how to do that? Here are three techniques we use to customize each and every video we produce in order to ensure we create one-of-a-kind videos every time!

Branding

We create brands to visually represent our company in a way that we can all relate to. Taco Bell had the talking chihuahua, and BestBuy has the geek squad.  The same concept should go into your videos; you should always add a touch of your branding touch. Now, when we mention branding, we do not mean incorporating your logo everywhere or repeating your company’s name in the script. What we are referring to are the subtle ways to instill your branding into your video, such as:

  • Utilizing company colors

  • Bringing your slogan to life

  • Animating real people into video characters

Recognize that guy on our  homepage video? That’s me! Branding is effective only when it’s not too obvious, as it creates something relatable to your viewers whether it’s the logo, colors, or even a memorable voice.

Make your Video Stand Out

Be the Trend-Setter

If you learned anything in school, then you should know by now that nobody likes a copycat! Copying other ideas will never put your company on the map for viral video, let alone popular video views. Look at it this way, do you want to watch a rerun of your favorite show, or a new episode?

Add Personality to Video

It is great to gather inspiration from other ideas but investing your energy to reproduce ideas that have already been done is simply a waste of time. Not only will this generate lower amount of views but will also eliminates your originality. If you really want to create an engaging video that attracts your viewers, then think of something that represents your company, staff, perspective. Even if it doesn’t seem to big deal in your company, your culture, or new idea just may be the trend in your industry.

Write an Awesome Script

We talk about scripts a lot, I mean A LOT. Why is that? Because they are the roots your video’s success. A cleverly written and insightful script is what sets the mood and overall message to your viewers. There are some golden rules to remember:

  • It must be easy to understand

  • There must be a call to action

  • It must be engaging

As you can see, it is your personal touch that will make your explainer video stand out amongst the rest. You can hire the best animators, producer, or script writers in the world (that’s us), but if you don’t add your originality and personal touch, then you’re no different than the rest of the explainer videos out there.
