We just finished an awesome explanatory video for Scenios. Now, Scenios is the perfect example of why a product demo video is necessary: It’s a fantastic product, but it’s a bit complicated. Scenios is a virtual production office that is based in the cloud. Can you explain that? I know I can’t…unless I explain it with a video:
That’s better, isn’t it? During this product demo video production, we had the opportunity to discover all of the valuable offerings that Scenios has in its suite. Since there are so many, we allowed ourselves a longer video (2 minutes), because if we kept it to only 60 seconds, we would have to talk super fast…and that would just annoy everyone.
Scenios includes tools that streamline script writing, production scheduling, call sheets, budgeting, document filing, as well as includes a powerful set of video tools. Oh, and it’s customizable, making your life oh so much easier.
So, what have we learned? Trying to explain “a virtual production office that is based in the cloud” through text is not the best idea. It’s complicated, so a video is a great way to showcase the features of Scenios’ offerings. By using an explanatory video, the company can appeal to their target audience in a distinct, easy to understand way. So friends, as we always say, keep it simple, because simplicity appeals to everyone.
